With Armsoar closed up, I can import the gliders he was handling. Any interest in the following models?

You can help shape our initial order for these. :)

Thanks Sumit for calling this to my attention.

Take this with a grain of salt - I am only molded DLG-curious, but I've been getting closer and closer to pulling the trigger.

I keep reading that you might as well go 1.5m to get something with real air time.

A two-piece wing is important to me if it doesn't affect performance.

It's silly but I've passed on planes before because I didn't like the colors in stock. Not a DLG but the MicroMax is one such case.

I have a balsa DLG waiting to be built. I doubt the performance comes close to the flying F1 ships but it's something that is approachable for me to whet my appetite while also being usable on the slope in light wind.

Yes, the 1m DLG and the 1.5 are very different animals. The 1m has always sold well for us thanks to the lower price, but they can be very fragile air frames. I think people are better off with the full sized 1.5 meter DLGs as they are more robust and they perform better. Little easier to work on too. I always feel like my fat fingers are going to kill a 1 meter.

I have had multiples of both 1m and 1.5m and while they both have advantages and disadvantages, they are both great. I had a Mini Dart 2 for a while and it was a lot of fun. Im not in the market for one but just my 2 cents.

@zeo0nie1, I cant say enough good things about the Micromax for flight characteristics. It is one of my all time favorites and one Ill have for a very long time. Understand on the color schemes but it is an amazing flier if you find one you like.
