DJT RSSI Alarm setup

Aeromister

New User
Hope this is not a stupid question but I have a JR 9303 with a DJT Module. I would like to know if there is a way that I can set the module to beep if the RSSI value becomes low (42 or less). Also, can I convert the transmitter battery to a 6 cell nicad or two cell lipo?

The module will do that automatically. :)

I'm not sure that the 9303 would be happy with the lower voltages, most people would run that transmitter on a 3 cell lipo, but it may blow the rather wimpy voltage regulator that JR put in them. Probably best to keep the stock 8 cell nimh in there. We sell replacements if needed.

Thanks Wayne. So far I have not been able to get the alarm to activate even if I turn the receive off. Everything else works fine. Shouldn't the alarm beep if you turn the receiver off?
