DHT Module and Receiver Channels

I installed the DHT module in a Futaba FP-6FN. It binds easily and works great. The only issue I have is channel 2 on the tx (elevator) operates channel 3 on the rx ( both D8R-2 and V8R4-2 ). Also, Tx channel 3 (throttle) operates channel 2 on the rx. In other words, channels 2 and 3 are swapped or in mode 1. The tx has always been used in mode 2 with Futaba receivers. This isn't a big issue since it's not a computer radio with mixing. I am considering adding a DHT module to
a more complex transmitter where this could cause some issues. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

Futaba didn't adhere the then standard channel outputs. They always wanted to be different they even used the inverted pulse for their PWM output. Like you said; not an issue as you would just plug in the appropriate servo to the appropriate output of the RX.

Even with more advanced set ups this shouldn't be an issue. Just plug in the servo to the correct corresponding RX output.

What he said - The DHT simply passes on the same exact channel info it gets, there is no reassignment of the channels. So even a mixed radio will be fine.

ps. Nice radio - that was my first real radio when I got into the hobby! I flew that thing for a few years, but help onto it for decades and would occasionally charge up the old nicads. I do wish I had held onto it for the good memories. Neat to see one in use today.
