Back to the case in hand - the DH108.
... It will be interesting to see how it looks with the canopy.

Cheers,

Doc.

DocJ, tell us more about the DH108 Project - size? ultimate material? power?

hello John ( @"j ferguson" )
, here is a summary of key geometry dimensions

wing span : 1524 mm = 60"
total length : 1161 mm
wing chord at the root : 480 mm
fuselage span to the wing roots : 391mm
fuselage tube length : 1026 mm
scale : 1:7.87
wing area : 0.491 sqm = 5.28 sqft

PSS, sloper configuration , no motor. Maybe an EDF option may come at a later stage .
Fuselage Material fiber glass
Wings foam core balsa sheeted, FG skin.

What he said;)

Doc.

Ahh, I need all details of the wing if you want me to cut cores. Foils, sweeps, angles, spans.

Hi Guys, Looks like the 3-D print idea is not going to fly.

So I'll make a former/stringer/styrofoam/glass fuselage plug.

I have done this before, as I made the fuselage plug for the very first actual twin jet powered Dassault Rafale model many years ago in the early 90's.

The project lives!

Cheers, Doc.
