Converting a XJT into an XHT for vintage radios

Ah shit. How much does your local guy want for it. Would you be interested in shipping it to me. I dont even know if you can right now. I have a few packages that are being held in Germany right now

Yeah would be possible, they want CHF 53.85 which is about $57.

Don't know where you are, I assumed USA and while the address selection lets you select that there are then no shipping options available. Maybe you can contact them and they can sort it out,

Yes sir Im in the US. I will email them and see if they'll ship it. If not I can send you the money. Is that something you would be able to do. Thanks

I have talked with FrSky about the Dashboard as they have discontinued it. I wanted to see if I could talk them into producing them again. Basically they would need to make 1000 units of them as a minimum and they don't they they could sell that many. So it does not look good. Hunt around and you may find a hobby shop that bought some and they are sitting collecting dust..

It's kinda weird they'd invest into making the XHT but not make more FSD's along with them.
A lot of people use XJTs in radios that support telemetry and thus don't need an FSD, but the XHT seems like it would mostly go to people who would need one if they want telemetry.

Thats exactly where I am. I like taking older gear and making it work. I know its sometimes more expensive than just buying a radio that has everything i need but im hard headed i guess. Kilrah it looks like ill be sending you the funds for the dashboard you can get. I can't find any cheaper. Heres my email. rjc19777@gmail.com

I have the JP4in1 - external and internal versions.

I had a look at the FRsky XJT lite, would that be a good module to get?

If you are converting your Jr radio you might want to check out XHT. It replaces their DHT module. I will be putting one of the DHT i got into my Airtronics Stylus...
