Converting a XJT into an XHT for vintage radios

I want to try this. Do you sell the 5 pin header to solder the power/ppm/ground to? I saw a momentary switch available
Next question:
Does the case removal destroy the male coax mount? Could you add one of the sma extensions to extend it to the exterior, to say, oh, an old KRAFT aluminum case?
Does anyone know which traces on the XJT give data tx/rx to hook a Bluetooth transceiver to? I know where they are on a DHT... no idea where to start on a XJT.

We should have these around the end of the month.These should work with the Dashboard from FrSky. While the Dashboard has issues, it is better than nothing.

We tend to stock them in low numbers. I'll try to carry more inventory.
No, it has had some flaws since it was launched several years ago and they show no interest in fixing them as it has hardly sold any units. I have asked several times. I think with the XHT there will be more demand for them. As I recall most everything does work on them, but it has been so long that I do not recall what the issue(s) were.

If the tx has a trainer input you could use a CPPM out receiver bound to the student tx. Adding a trainer option to a older tx I’m thinking would only require switching the external cppm signal in place of the main tx encoder output via a button or toggle.
With what’s going on in the world I think we’re going to have to come up with another name for the main and trainer transmitters for teaching RC flying.
Maybe instructor tx and student tx?

FrSky killed them.Found out recently. Just when we could actually use the things. I might have some luck getting them back into production. Any interest? They had some flaws but generally worked as needed.
About a month ago there were 4 brand new ones on fleebay... They did not last very long. That said getting some made would be great..
