Channel changer limitation?

Hi gents. I Am trying to assign CH17 to one port of the FrSky SBUS to PWM Decoder with the Servo channel changer, but The highest channel number I get is 16. Am I missing something or this is a limitation? The big problem is that FrSky instead of assigning CH 60+ to Gyro control channels they assigned channels within the 16-channel range and thus blocking useful channels that could be used with one or two decoders.
Any lead where I can suggest a modification to the Archer receivers and the channel changer?

Think Sbus only supports 16 channels.

Sbus is a standard from Futaba.

There are actually 18 channels, but only 16 of them are proportional. Channels 17 & 18 are just on/off and those two are not used by FrSky. https://os.mbed.com/users/Digixx/notebook/futaba-s-bus-controlled-by-mbed/
