Carbon Falcon

Awesome! I'd like to try the sticks tomorrow if anybody will let me. I felt kind of uncomfortable at sunset as the flying area. It was a little small.

Finally able to return to the Carbon Falcon build. Followed the instructions and completed the set up. Everything seems to check out OK so did the glide test.

I’m amazed at how this thing, a simple model, a combination of a few rods and kite material, moves so effortlessly through the air.

Not able to maiden just yet. One servo clevis isn’t holding position. It would appear the treading is stripped. I need to purchase a couple replacements.

Hi Wayne or Team,

Had a look on your website but didn’t see the clevis. Would you kindly assist with with I can secure replacement clevis for the Carbon Falcon please?

Thanks

Flying wings have always been my thing. The flitetest versa wing was what motivated me to get into line of site flying and i have been in love with that silhouette and style of flying ever since. The carbon falcon flies like a much lighter weight wing than it feels when holding it. Was really fun to fly it around and was very reactive to motor power. IE when i was flying around very slow it was easy to quickly get out of trouble with just a little bit of power. Very fun to just fly around in ground effect. Going to be buying one of these.

Where is part 2 of the setup video?

Having read thru the manual I would suggest a few more pictures. For instance there is no picture in the electronic section that clearly shows where the esc and radio go.

There is only this one picture of the completed underside which doesn't really show much.

Both of the build videos are linked on the product page:

Think they are in this thread also..?

We keep saying we will re-write the manual, but other projects keep popping up.

The ESC just lays on the keel tubes and the receiver tends to be in front of that. Battery in the nose. We usually use a little tape or a small zip tire to secure them in place.

after having some time to lay out the parts and rewatch the quick build video it all makes sense. It was pretty overwhelming, even with the quickbuild kit, when i first took all the parts out.
