The pilot informed me those are for babies, and he is almost a day old now, so no chutes!

OK, how about wings and a proper CG just in case the magnet is made in China?
I had another talk with the pilot and it assures me that it does a good flight check as if its life is hanging by magnetic forces along, and it will refuse to go up should it detect any issue.
We did just try a free flight glide with the pilot and we confirm he is a horrible glider. While I'm sure intensive training and mental preparedness would go a long way for the pilot, I think it safe to say he will not glide far from the point of separation from the Falcon. We think this is good as it will mean less energy will be needed to mount a search for a pilot after bail out.
The pilot has added that a thread might come in handy to keep him close to the plane if you are really REALLY worried about this.
Also, pilots are easy to re-print. ("Oh the horror!" proclaimed the pilot.)

Started building my Carbon Falcon this weekend and got to the step of installing the servo mount on page 11. It says to measure 141mm from one end of the keel tube and apply tape then slide the servo mount up to that mark. It looks like the mount was already installed and glued. One length of the tube is 131mm and the other is 146mm from the mount. Can anyone tell me which side is supposed to go toward the front? There are two screw holes on the mount so I cannot tell which side is forward and don't want to mess up the CG.
Yes, two holes like that. On one side of the mount, the carbon fiber rod measures about 131mm. The other side of the mount, the rod measures about 146mm. Neither side measures 141mm as is stated in the manual so I don't know which end of the keel tube point to the front. Logically, I would think the 131mm section would be toward the front half making sure the CG was forward, but my luck I would be wrong and have to buy everything again.
Yes, we are now performing this step in house to make the kits a bit easier. This one step was a bit confusing for folks so we developed some tooling that allows us to do this consistently. Since some kits are still out there without this part assembled we have left it in the manual. The 146mm is more accurate than the 141.
