Captcha - is there a way to turn off the stupid captcha thing on logging in?

Ah, makes sense. I just did not want them to ignore what I perceive to be a problem...I just really hate captcha especially ones where it says select the crosswalk and the are blocks with just a little stipe in it...do you select it or not. Captcha does not appear to know either as I fail that one every time no matter what I select...
This is a customer experiance thing. I know that this is a focus of Aloft partiularly the service side. Being as Aloft is the only LHS left in my area I want to offer any help (data points) that might help you and future customers stay with Aloft.

This is a selfish desire on my part as I want a hobby shop (Aloft) to be around when I need help!

I did go ahead and I wiped cache and site information in Safari.
I got the minimal captcha (just select checkbox) once yesterday but this morning I got the full blown thing again:

When I say I hate captcha it does not really express the depth of the feeling...If they keep it to the one I posted it is fine but then they start with the BS like the traffic light one....just don't!

Here is what Shopify says on the matter:
reCAPTCHA is enabled when customers who make multiple attempts to log in, create accounts, or reset their passwords are asked to enter a CAPTCHA to make sure that they're legitimate users.

Hmm strange. I do go back and forth between 4 devices (2 work offices, phone, and home pc). Wonder if that is why i get it.

FEW MOMENTS LATER:
Just went to the store and logged in and immediately got it, although i was able to find all the palm trees on first try.

OK - Getting a lot of spammers here on the forum. During the Captcha discussion I had turned off all validations of humans here on the forum (separate animal from the store). Thought I'd see how things went.. Well, turned the simple question captcha back on, seems to block 90% of the spammers. Should show up for new users only.

Thought I'd share just in case. Let me know if you spot any issues or concerns.
