Can't Bind to new RX but previously Bound RX work fine.

I have a series of RX's new in the package and received a new model so I was setting up and trying to BIND to one of these new RX's. I had just updated the firmware on my Taranis XD9+ to OpenTX 2.3.15 and updated the new RX's firmware as well with the FCC version firmware's. When trying to bind to a S6R RX with radio setup XJT D16 CH1-8 Telem ON put the TX in BIND and while Holding FS button I power the RX and the RX light is solid green and stays on after releasing the FS and NOT getting the flashing RED as expected. I cancel BIND on the TX and restart the RX and the RX status is RED. I tried to BIND to couple other NEW RX's another S6R, XR8, and X4R and couldn't BIND to any of them. I grabbed a couple random models that I have already BOUND to (thinking the new TX firmware change screwed something up) and setup and they all work fine. So what do I have wrong?

There are two types of firmware on your radio, one is the radio operating firmware OTX 2.3.15 and the second is the firmware running on the RF internal module. The RF firmware is known as V1 and V2. If you have not updated the RF module firmware it is most likely V1. All radio and receivers shipped for the last couple of years is V2. So you will have to decide on up grading the RF module XJT firmware or down grade the new receiver firmware to V1, or use the receiver multi firmware available from the Aloft web site.
