Cannot Register SR8 Pro Receiver

I am having problems registering my SR8 Pro receiver and I am about to go insane over this. I was able to register this receiver without a problem after I initially updated the firmware on it upon getting it. It has the most recent firmware. I deleted that model out of my transmitter and am attempting to reset it back up. (I'm new to Ethos and the initial setup had many issues so I started over.) I attempted to register the receiver to the new model and the transmitter just keeps stating "register" but it isn't doing anything. A green light comes on with a very rapid red LED flash if you look at it at an angle. Otherwise, it just looks like the green is flickering. I have tried flashing the firmware again many times and even flashed an older version of firmware and then the most current firmware again to see if that would do something. No matter what I try, I cannot get it to register and connect. This is the only model in my transmitter, so that is not the issue. I am following the correct steps that worked fine initially. Click register, hold down the button, and then plug in the power. Nothing works, time and time again. Does anyone have any ideas?

Update ISRM module to 2.2.1
Update SR8 Pro to 2.1.10 (self check now in Device Config / SxR tool)
Obvious things to check in Model / RF System:
lnternal Module
State = ON
Type = ACCESS
2.4G = ON
Best to have 1-2m separation between rx and tx

When registration succeeds the RX name gets filled in, but you still need to tap the Register button when it goes yellow.

Thank you for the reply. I have updated both the Tx and Rx to the latest firmware. I have confirmed all of my settings. I hadn't previously tried being 2m away, but I just did and still no success. Each time I try the transmitter screen says waiting on Rx and does not detect one. The Rx displays a green LED with a very rapid red LED flash. I have previously successfully completed this two days ago with the exact same procedure, so I don't understand why it will not work now. Any other suggestions?

While I wait on more ideas I am going to flash the Tx again to see if that does anything. Worth trying anything at this point.

You might try putting the radio into register mode first, and then hold down the bind button a little longer while powering on.
