Ugh that sucks about the table

Just got back from Niagra Falls/ NY trip. Need to finish a couple planes. Almost sunset time!


Grabbed a new camera to use this year. My friend had used a DJI osmo pocket 3 for a japan trip. He took a dslr as well, but ended up using the pocket for most of it. So i grabbed one as well. Should do well with tracking planes at sunset and removing some of the shakiness. He showed me one video of him running down a trail and you almost cant tell.
Its basically the gimbal off of a drone that smooths out your hand movements while keeping the horizon level.

That sucks about the table. We are going to see what we can make out of some scrap wood we have here. Thinking more of sitting bench than a full blown table. Use some firewood for table legs, etc.. We shall see we we have and bring that up. We will spend all of one afternoon on this project.

I'm a bit of a newbie, this is my 3rd camp-n-fly, I'm with the south build-nite crew. I've yet to score a tee shirt for the event, is there a secret handshake or something? The designs are looking really cool! If you can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

I need to get my butt over to the local screen printer and see if any of these designs can be printed. They will not be in time for the event, so we will keep sales open till after the event, and then ship them out to folks when they are ready.

Yes, we have had people in the past try to predict (even with modern forecast programs) and no one program is ever correct. Sunset is very tricky. For this whole past week is was saying Rain on Sunday 4-26, then by Fri is had moved to Sat. Even when it shows rain, most the time it barely rains at the coast and blows through. I love being at Sunset State Beach just after the rain comes through. It is one of the best flying conditions. Either way I enjoy all the people I get to see and talk to the most. Flying is secondary for me.
