Camp n Fly 2025!!! May 3-4th!!

I think ill be picking up @Hawaii Sloper at SFO like 8-9 depending on when i get past the city traffic (IE how early do i want to get up that morning) and than we hit the costco in santa cruz on the way. So i would say 12-2pm for us. Hopefully we dont get a grouchy ranger lady again. Like nobody was camped anywhere in that loop, we had reservations, but apparently showing up early to hang out is not ok. They did finally let us in, but cant remember if they made us pay for a day pass too.
Yep...can't check in before 2, even if the site is empty so kinda doesn't matter when you arrive.

The buggy I built back in the day: (Toyota twins and axles with Mitsubishi Turbo Eclipse motor, it was FUN.)

Today I have a Nissan Xterra. LOL

Probably around 2pm for the Aloft Crew on Wednesday. Got to stop and get our hot dogs on the way, it's a stupid tradition now.

@Hawaii Sloper and i are going to try a weather station this year for the hill. Its got a 1.9 miles range (10,000 feet) from the weather station to the base station. The distance from the hill is not directly line of site back to group camp, but its only 600 feet so should bounce around just fine im thinking. Both units use batteries that last for about a year. Figure we can walk the sensor unit up in the morning and setup the display unit during the day on the table at our camp if people want to come by and see direction speed.

Dude... That thing is SWEET.

Just did a quick plane count, and I am at 15. Time to thin the herd as we don't have that kind of space this year. I do this battle every year. Oh yeah and I may need to deliver a 4 meter ship to a new owner. This should be fun to fit into the vehicle.
Easy to fix: Trailer, Bigger Car, Ski Box on top (I have one that will fit a few 4meter gliders - that you can have).

The shirt printing took longer than expected. We are hoping to have the shirts in time to ship tomorrow, but starting to look like that may not happen. We may have to hand deliver at the event, and we will refund the pre-paid shipping.

Also, if you have the room, please bring some firewood for the evening burns. :)

You all bringing something for the potluck dinner Saturday Night? Please no bags of chips or soda pops. Please try to bring something you would like to eat for dinner and share with your friends.
