Lol, it's a more nerdy version of having all your friends come over to play video games! That's actually how Nate and I got to be friends. We had common friends that would all get together and bring our XBOX consoles and TVs to someone's house and play HALO all weekend. Man do I miss that! That was 20 years ago!

Been playing / practicing Bass music and playing alot of video games lately. Had a fun LAN party 2 weekends ago with about 8 of us. I am way to old to be staying up past midnight and drinking multiple nights in a row lol

Was able to get a Uhaul cargo van again this time. That is my favorite way to go to sunset. So i should have an extra spot for parking for someone.

What were you guys playing? Looks pretty epic. Also, what kind of bass music are you playing?

LAN is local area network. IE the network at your house or your company. Super old slang for everyone bringing there gear to your house. Consoles or pc's.
So instead of everyone playing together online we play together in person

The guys i play with here play Rock/country stuff.

when i come around - green day
few other ones they wrote

They have been just giving me the easy 2/3 chord stuff while i learn.

I used to play bass in punk bands way back when, switched over to guitar but I got a lot of love for the instrument. If you want to hear some great bass playing check out older Elvis Costello records. I always thought that Steve Nieve was one of the best.

Currently working on Michael Jacksons Billy Jean song in my online course (Bassbuzz.com). Never really was into MJ stuff until i started taking note of the bass in music. Like a weird part of music i just never noticed before. Like getting a new car and suddenly seeing them everywhere. I havent played any music since elementary school, so like 35 years or so. Fun learning something new.
This is my current practice setup in my shop.

700w pa with a small mixer and a bluetooth RX so i can play music from my phone
200w Ampeg Bass Amp.
Crap Facebook Marketplace Bass, i have about tripled its worth with new parts lol

IF it does not I will have a MOM race at Sunset Camp and Fly with my son Alex flying one and me flying the other. I will make sure I'm fling the 104 oz one When was the last time anyone have seen two Novas racing each other?
