Oh, good to know. I'm thinking I might just go early and enjoy myself. Maybe there's even some surfing right at that spot, but then again, I probably won't have room for my board with the gliders in the back... I'll figure it out!

I'm curious how you gamed the res system, which is supposed to limit reservations to six months in advance? Inquiring minds want to know!

The six months ahead is only the first day of your stay. Than you do 4 nights which grabs it thru Sunday.

A number of us show up Wednesday and set things up and get in some early flying.

It is best to grab your spot early, in the past we have had a very hard time getting camp sites for everyone as other groups were using the same weekend there. We were going to delay the announcement a few days until the 6 months hit for the Friday before, but we saw a number of our traditional sites already reserved. For example Jeremy was not able to get his traditional camp site that he has had for years, even with the extended stay. We will actually have some other people camping in the middle of our main group. Less than ideal. Last year we had nearly all of the spots near the glider port, this worked out well.

Heck, I was seriously thinking of getting the group site this year, but it was already booked!

Spot #18 (2nd -5th) room for another van or non-camper thing to park with me to split the camp spot. I have 4 people out of the 8 total we can have. And I think it’s another $10 to park a 3ed vehicle.
