Camp n Fly 2022!!!

I figured no electrics, but I had to ask haha.

CR kits where the business back in the day, anything for sale? I'm a glutton for punishment lol.

Nope, I like my personal stash of CR stuff too much to sell them. They flew great back when I couldn't afford them, and they still fly great, just harder to get a hold of.

I was asked to be on a Podcast, and I gave the Camp and Fly a nice little plug towards the beginning. Check it out if you are bored.

@Red you really gotta take some time and walk around looking at the scratch builds this year. Lots of cool stuff!

Still listening to the podcast, it is my new commute podcast. LOL

I look forward to this event all year long. I love it when this thread pops back up as it gets me thinking about the good times we are going to have. ALWAYS puts me in a better state of mind.

Finished the first of what I hope is many builds for Sunset. This is an FVT-3 kitted by AngelWing Designs.

@Red - OK, I'd like to know more about the Prandti wing concepts. Since you are the expert, would you be willing to start up a new thread and give us some the basics of what makes the Prandti wing unique I think we would all enjoy it. And we do have a few other designers in our membership here. My very simple understanding must have some holes in it. We briefly discussed the topic in another thread, so know there is some interest in the topic. Thanks!

Done......

Pine Hollow is within walking distance of the Glider port. Maybe 1/4 mile. We had site #39 before - 15 minutes walk to the top of glider port....

Yeah, I have camped there in the past too. It works fine, just a little longer walk. (Load up your car, drop off the planes, return the car to the campsite and walk back to enjoy the planes.)

Working on my next Sunset build. This is a vintage kit called a Jalapeño from Jac-Mac Models from the 70’s I think. Look at all that lumber I get to carve lol. I’m slowly working through my stash of old kits.
