Binding V8R7SP to x-lite pro using external XJT lite module?

I have several V8R7SP receivers and with XJT lite in x-lite pro they won’t bind.
Directions are clear ,go to page 2 menu-model setup choose external RF mode XJT lite choose D16,D8 or LR12 and select bind,lights on module blink red/green.Then connect power to receivers while holding down FS ,light will flash red,but it stays solid red/green as tx beeps in bind mode.
So what is the problem?
Receiver directions say make sure Tx is in ppm mode by holding down programming button but x-lite pro doesn’t have one.
I’ve bound many Fasst,DX7,0rangerx etc...

The V8R7SP is a V receiver, it won't work with anything newer than a DJT.
Only the V-II receivers are able to be bound in D8 mode.
