Binding RX6R with Taranis X9 Lite

I've been making amazing progress with my glider build. I have a short but sturdy question about some of the technical steps to connect the receiver and transmitter. I have officially succeeded in updating the firmware on my X9 Lite but I am still haveing issues binging the remote to the plane. What am I doing wrong? Did I forget to do something? Thank you all for you hep!

FrSky is very different when it comes to binding than Spektrum, which I assume you've used. While you're selected on your model, press "Menu," then "Page." You can then scroll to "Internal RF." Underneath this, you will need to make sure "ACCST D16" is selected. You can then scroll down to "Bind" and hit enter on is (press in the scroll bar). You can then supply power to your receiver while holding down the bind button (it may be labeled as the F/S button). Once you've supplied power, you can let go of the button, and the lights should be solid green and red. You can then disconnect power from the receiver, exit bind mode on the transmitter by pressing "exit," and you should be bound.

If you're still having issues, check out this video that details a similar setup:

Note that this covers ACCESS receivers, not D16. Pay attention to 0:24 - 0:44. This will show how to navigate and change the "Internal RF." The registering process is also very similar to binding - instead of the receiver poping up for registry, the receiver will simply be bound. It may be a little confusing, so I would try to go with my first paragraph, and if you get stuck, look at the video for reference - don't try to follow the video step-for-step.

It seems that when I try to bind my Transmitter and receiver in the D16 ACCST Mode the RX6R device does not appear. When I repeated the same binding actions while in the regular ACCESS Mode the RX6R pops up immediately. Whats the best move for me?

Nigel the whole left right-wing just snapped off. It bound to the receiver and then the gears immediately turned and ripped the wing off of the Mini Q

Firstly, not all is lost. It is repairable with a little bit of time.

It sounds like your servos weren't centered when they were connected to the pushrods, for future reference it's always a good idea to have your servos powered up and centered, and then to connect the flight surface.

Can you send a picture of the damage? It will help dictate what's your best course of action.

Ahh, what? Don't see how the wing could have been ripped off. Maybe the aileron if you have strong servos...

To summarize, before you do anything else, please tell us what you have, and what has worked and what you would like to do, then lets carefully move forward.

I'm not stressing about it, everything looks like it will be repairable. I am having difficulty correctly wiring the 6 channels on the RX6R to the corresponding controls on the controller.

Take a look at the side of the receiver and make sure your pinouts are correct (+, Gnd, and Signal). Other things to be careful about are making sure that your ESC is connected to Channel 1, and the servos connected to 2 and 3. Also, when creating the model in your radio, make sure to select "Delta" to get the correct mixing. You may need to adjust afterwards, but it should get you in the right direction, which will be notable if both servos move when moving only one axis on the radio.

Here's a video showing the process of creating the proper mix:

Hey guys, I know it's been a while but I'm planning to head to Santa Rosa on Thursday the 25th. If you guys are going to be open I would love to bring my Mini Q and Transmitter to the shop for help. Is this possible?
