Review: Aufwind English.
Hi, glider guiders. The editors have listened to us, and the first historical English January/February edition of Aufwind magazine is out.
Mine took a while to arrive, as I live in “Darkest Taiwan”! Obviously, this is not the magazine’s fault but the super-slow and super-expensive postage we must live with today. Bah! Humbug! But when it finally arrived, I have to say I was very impressed.
As those of you who subscribe will have seen, I have my own column in the magazine, “Gliding and Design.” This is also a new departure, but I’ll leave you to comment on that.

OK, so let’s take a look inside the book: Holy moly! One hundred pages with twenty-one separate features? It’s huge! Here is a list of the contents:
The pictures are bright and vivid, the text is well written and informative, and with such a large and varied content, there seems to be something for everyone interested in our wonderful hobby. At twelve euros per issue or sixty-nine Euros per six issues, I have to say it’s money well spent for the glider fan.
So, guys, if your lovely wife or girlfriend asks you what you want for Christmas – tell her to give you an Aufwind subscription – you will not be sorry.
