Apostrophe and quotes are not rendering properly?

I like the new look. But the Apostrophe and quotes are not rendering properly on my machine, I’m using Safari. What I find odd is that the problem looks to isolated to the post I up loaded. I’m starting to think the issue is on my side. Are others noticing a issue with apostrophe and quotes are not rendering properly?

Hey Konrad -- thanks for looking out -- there are new settings in this updated version and I've yet to look at all of them associated with threads and whatnot. The look will be changing, hopefully today.. Can you take a screenshot of what you're having issues with and post it here so I know what to look for? I'm also using Safari on OSX Mojave..

Wow.. That's .. umm.. interesting.. what version of MacOS are you running? Interestingly enough I pulled up that same thread and see the same stuff.. I also fired up Firefox (on Mac) and it shows it the same way.. I'm wondering if it's stored in the forum that way? But that post is from last year. How long has this been an issue for you?

2 days. It seemed to happen with the last upgrade. I was manually cleaning up some of the more modern post. I only see in the posts I up loaded. Safari 12.0.3 so I'm sure I'm due for an up grade. But every time I upgrade an OS of browser I loose some functionality with my legacy programs. (WBTW work better than the new stuff mainly because I can navigate with in the program. Also some of the new programs as subscription making formerly expensive programs really ridiculous.

You're running the same version I am -- on MacOS Mojave.. You're up to date! Interesting. I'm checking on this with the forum folks.. I'll let you know what I find out

If that is directed at me, I used a program called Grab [1.10 (141)] to grab and then post the image in this thread.

Posts after the upgrade seem to post my punctuation just fine. It is my posts before the latest revision that aren't rendering properly.

Here might be an issue I often write my posts in Word then copy and past (post) into the dialogue box of the forum. (You don't want my unfiltered english spelling and grammar!!! After ten minutes even I can't read what I wrote!)

I think that copy and paste may have been the issue.. We will keep an eye on it for now. Don't worry about the old ones, easy enough to figure out. For the record, I get them showing up oddly in many of the product reviews from people.

If you're using a Mac, there's a little app for the menubar called "tyke" which when clicked-on will bring up a small window and you can paste text into it and it will remove all formatting.. You then re-select your text and cut/copy it and it's ready for pasting into your final destination albeit without formatting (fonts, bold, etc).. Works great for certain tasks and completely free..
