Anyone flying with a tandem?

I havent even seen a tandem rx yet. It seems like the current ones out are competing for the higher end RX market like the Jeti stuff. Im waiting for the cheaper modules to come out before i buy one.

oh i thought he meant the tandem rx. Yeah the x20s are great.

My go to radio is a JR 11x
But might need some extra channels and was considering the Tandem.... but been searching and haven't seen not one person flying Jets with this Radio...?

Hasn't been flown in some time... will need to recover the wings ..fix some minor detailing and install new electronics.
FrSky is used for all levels of RC control from TINY to able to carry humans.
We sell to aerospace on a regular basis. They are used for R&D work often times for military drones in the early stages, Vtol aircraft, etc. I know of a few that are using the radios with rather massive air taxi development.
We have sold to Adam Savage's new show (Mythbusters guy) so they could RC a vehicle towing nitroglycerin. If you have watched Mythbusters, you know how many issues they had with their Futaba radios over the years, they had no issues with the FrSky despite a VERY dirty RF environment where nearly everything is using RF links when filming.
There is an Israeli turbine RC team that uses nothing but FrSky. They tend to post up on Facebook.
With the Tandem Radio and the new R-buses for power control in the large airframes we are seeing a lot more uses in large scale RC aircraft. A few years ago there was a guy that was flying a really neat setup at a giant scale event. It was a twin engine hybrid setup in his warbird. Basically an electric motor connected to the crankshaft of his gas motor. The combination allowed for a really nice setup, needless to say he was using some advanced mixing to control this setup and get it working in harmony. (remote electric start, super low idle speed with the gas motor stabilized by the electric motor, and plenty of power and longish flight times. He could fly from just the electric power if needed, the gas acted more as a source of sound and a power adder.
Anyhow, with the number of channels and pure power of the mixing, flight modes and sensors, and most importantly the rock solid RF, the FrSky radios lend themselves to just about anything.

For some reason i thought this radio had the ability to bind and modulate in different frequencies.

X20 or x20s will handle it fine..
You will always be best served to stay with receivers that match the transmitter you are using. So FrSky receivers for FrSky transmitters. Jeti with Jeti, etc.
While there are radios out there that can use other brands protocols, they are all reverse engineered products that may have issues and use hardware that is built on the cheap. In other words the tolerances on the electronic components is not on par with the name brand products. If this was not bad enough, they are not legal in the EU, and would not be legal in the FCC if the FCC knew what they were doing. Push comes to shove, good luck getting your insurance to pay off should an accident occur.
