Aloft Web Site

The checkout is now a hassle. My Norton security software said that there was a "malware" attack and would not let m check out. Please "beta test" any changes that you make to your website before implementing them.

I just ordered with zero issues. I dont have norton. But it went thru our corporate firewalls and antivirus with no warnings at all.

I don't use Norton anymore. It seems common that it doesn't clear its own cache or something pretty regularly. OI am not a computer guy, that is told to me. Restarting the computer usually clears the problems...

Actually i ordered twice in the past couple days as i accidentally included my sunset tshirt with shipping of other stuff so i did one order at work and than another order at home. Its sounds like something specific to your setup @Tomflyer .

Hey Tom, we have not made any changes to the checkout, in fact we are not able to change it. We run a Shopify site, it is the most common ecommerce package in North America and is very well trusted. Our site never leaves their secure servers. This was a main reason we picked to partner with Shopify was their high level of security.

As suggested, try cleaning out your Norton, they seem to have more issues than most. But just to be sure, we will run some third party checks on the site.

Aloft IT guys: I have noticed for the last couple of weeks that the nice little Aloft Hobbie eagle avatar has gone - be replaced by a Farcebook logo of all things. (Quelle Horreur!!!)

Also the site has gone from nice warpspeed downloads to over 10 seconds.

Am I the only one seeing this?

I'm getting this two out of three times I try to bring the site up:

Almost looks like a hosting problem - not that I know bugger all about it.

I did a click test today:

I got a slow but OK Aloft website showup in about 60% of the tries. Bad Gateway in the other 40.

Also I had to (try to) post this 3 times as I keep getting an "Oops...we ran into problems..." message

Something is a bit awry.

Had the Bad Gateway since Friday(?) everything on the forum side loads slow, but it was working OK on Saturday late pm. DM's Wayne early Saturday about it....

OK, Browser cache cleared and now the site comes up nice and quickly, (Thanks!) but I'll give it a check this evening too.

I still have the weird facebook avatar for Aloft on my bookmarkslist though so no idea what may have happened there.

Thanks for the help.

We for sure had something going on with our server for the forum. We noticed it here Friday night. Seems our hosting company spotted the issue and got things sorted out as the forum seems to be much faster than it had been for a while now.

Yep, ripping now!

Still having issues with the server- Got the hosting company looking into it. Our other domains are having the same issue, they are on the same server.
