Aloft Store - Small changes

Fixed some of the sorting issues on the main site. You may notice a few other things also. When you go into a collection page like this one:
You have a bunch of sorting options to drill down to the items you are hunting for. We have had this functionality for a long time, but some of it was not working well, and it was a bit dated. The new setup is much faster and hopefully cleaner for everyone. And the Spruce and Basswood offerings now show.

Speaking of wood, let me know if you have any wood needs we are not currently stocking. More basswood? More Spruce? Different shapes? (No plans to offer 48" wood due to shipping challenges.)

Now that we have a bunch of linkages, I have added filtering to help sort them to some key areas.

Let me know if there is a section you think could use better filtering.

When I check out I get the shopping rewards amount shown that I'm earning, but there is never a place to see what I have, nor how to redeem them. I've put in some covering and piano wire on that last order, thinking it just doesn't apply to balsa orders but there was no credit that would apply to those so I removed them from the order. It would be cool to add things in addition to the balsa orders even if it's just stuff I don't really need just to use up the rewards earned. Also, would there be a way to combine things, such as with that covering added on, it would have fit into the same box as the balsa but the cart tried to charge me $15.00 for shipping it, honestly it doesn't even need to be on a roll in this case, with the Doculam I supply in my kits, I just fold it up to eliminate oversized packaging on it.
 
The credit is not from Aloft Hobbies, that is from Shopify's SHOP app. We use Shopify for the store, and they pretty much force you into offering their SHOP app. This is not a bad thing as they have some solid protections and pretty good fees for credit card processing and a smooth check out. How smooth, most people don't realize they are using SHOP. You can think of SHOP as Paypal, it is a payment gateway, and a little more. Your credit you are earning is with them, not us. You can use the credit at select Shopify stores. What stores use Shopify? A LOT of them. Perhaps you noticed you did not need to sign into an account here at the Aloft Store, or enert your address or credit card? That is a result of the SHOP app knowing you from another store where you entered those details.

We actually have other payment options, but you need to sign out of SHOP to see them. To do this, you need to select the "check out as guest" link at the bottom of the checkout page:

To cash in your SHOP Cash you will need to explore their site. Chances are they have been sending you some emails. So the nice thing is you can spend those bucks where you like. The bad news is they probably can not be spent on Aloft. I need to do some research on that.

For shipping quotes we have a rather advanced shipping system that knows the size and weight of every item we sell, and it also knowns the inside dimensions of all of our boxes and what they weigh. It is VERY good at giving very accurate shipping quotes. But sometimes we can save space by slipping stuff inside a tube of film, etc. So if you suspect it is not doing things right, email us and we can see if we can manually run the shipment to save you money. This is very true for international aircraft sales.

On a rare occasion the system will charge too much for a shipment and we will refund the customer the difference.
