Aloft Hobbies prized possession

tic

Very Strong User
A few years ago I complained about the size of the candy included in the orders and also the lack of good aloft hobbies stickers. A few weeks later this full size wooden snickers bar arrived in the mail with an inscription on the back. Toche Aloft hobbies! The wooden candy bar is now proudly displayed in my RC room and always will be. You gained a customer for life

LOL- That wa a while back.

We occasionally have a little fun and ship things out to folks, but almost never hear back. Thanks for the update.

I forgot to mention that in the box were about 20 bite size snickers and a bunch of stickers. LOL.

Chris - Sounds like Nate needs more stuff.

Jarron is the one you have to watch out for. He has sent dead wasps, spiders and candy he knows the recipient hates (almond joy). He reserves this special treatment for someone he knows pretty well. We tend to collect old brushed motors, mechanical speed controls and other end of life hobby stuff, and Jarron is known to send them and stripped servos to some of his flying buddies. Think Nate has been the recipient several times.

We sell a fair amount of Flying Film, and every now and then someone comes up with a cool color combination I had not considered. I'll write a little note telling them I think it is a cool color combo and would love to see a picture of the finished airframe. Still waiting for someone to respond with a photo. One of these days, it will be cool to see.

Who was the mastermind behind the wooden snickers bar? I was really only joking about being shorted on candy and stickers so the package was a big surprise. I've never had a company reply with such a personalized touch. It was great

We were having fun with the complaint about no candy and thought it would be funny to send you a wooden candy bar, but we then decided to include some candy with it. We are easily amused sometimes. We knew you were joking around with us.
