ACCST RECEIVER ACTIVATION

New User
Wow, Im seriously lost. I have a X18 and have been trying for days now to get my receivers to register thru lua script.
Im totall new to frsky and lua script so im sure its something stupid simple. I have got the receivers to update to
the uni-firmware anf bound to the radio but for the life of me i cant get the lua script thing to work. Ant help would
be greatly appreciated. Please remember im totally new to this.
thanks
Lane

If you have copied the correct script to your radio, then the activate script will pop up a new option in your settings screen. So click the SYS button, then slide the screen to the second page and you should see the Uni-Activate menu option. Click on that and you should be good to go. :)

With Ethos, scripts can pop up in a number of different locations depending on what they are used for. For example if you copied the Uni-RX Statistics script, it is used via the display widgets (configure screens). To adjust those you can push and hold one of the stock timers on the home page. (one way to get there..) The statistics script requires a full screen. (You don't need this script, it is mostly a bunch of data that will confuse the average user.)

Hope this helps. :)

For Ethos, in the "scripts" directory you should have a directory called uniActi. In this directory you should have three files:
main.lua
main.png
engelmt.bmp

These come from the .zip fle in the second post of the thread: "UNI receiver Firmware Release Files"

Then follow Wayne's instructions above.
