1946 “floater” build

The kit came in a box that was only 18”, unlike modern kits that are 3 or 4’ to accommodate the longest structure of the plane. So instead of many splices,
I cut a sheet of 3/16” x 3” x 36” into 3/16”sqs. The original plans were very fragile so I made a working copy. Instead of a FF, I’m designing the “floater” as a
RC electric. Some changes I had to make were: a front hardwood or plywood motor mount set at about 3 degrees down angle, two additional fuselage forms,
one at the LE of the wing, and one at the TE of the wing. The indence of the wing was reduced to 2 degrees from 6, and keeping the same fuse outline
I put in less vertical sticks, but used diagonals to make a strong frame. At this point point I have most of the fuse done but still need cross pieces in the rear.
